Outlie is a daily geography puzzle game for iOS. This policy explains what data the app collects, who processes it, and how you can control it.
The game itself collects nothing. All puzzle content is bundled inside the app, and playing works entirely offline. Your puzzle progress, streak and daily token allowance are stored only on your device. Data collection in Outlie comes from two optional places: advertising and purchases.
Outlie is made by Natasha Wilson, an independent app developer trading as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, Natasha Wilson is the data controller.

The following is kept in local app storage, is never transmitted to us, and is deleted when you delete the app:
Outlie has no account system. We cannot see your progress and there is nothing for you to log in to.
Outlie shows rewarded video ads only — ads you choose to watch in exchange for something, such as extra Compass Tokens or temporary access to the puzzle archive. There are no banner or interstitial ads, and no ad is ever shown without you asking for it.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When you watch one, Google may collect and process:
Google shares this with advertising partners in order to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses AdMob data.
If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area, or a US state with applicable privacy laws, Outlie asks for your consent before requesting any ads, using Google's User Messaging Platform. No ads are requested until you have made a choice.
You can change or withdraw that choice at any time from Ad privacy options, in the app's Settings screen (the gear icon on the home screen). Withdrawing consent stops personalised advertising; you may still see non-personalised ads if you continue to choose to watch rewarded videos.
Outlie offers an optional subscription (Outlie Pro) and optional token packs. Purchases are handled by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which processes:
We never see or receive your payment card details — those go to Apple alone. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
| Service | Purpose | Applies when |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Serving and measuring rewarded video ads | You choose to watch an ad |
| Google User Messaging Platform | Collecting and recording your ad consent choice | You are in a region requiring consent |
| RevenueCat | Managing subscriptions and entitlements | Always, if purchases are available |
| Apple | Processing payments, App Store delivery | You make a purchase |
Outlie is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will act on it.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Because Outlie has no account system and stores progress only on your device, the fastest way to erase everything we could possibly hold is to delete the app.
For data held by our processors, contact us at flourishtechcoaching@gmail.com and we will pass the request on. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
On-device data is kept until you delete the app. Data held by Google and RevenueCat is retained according to their own published policies, linked above.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
